Marketed by Mercedes-Benz as “the most spectacular cross-country vehicle of all time,” the G63 AMG 6×6 lives up to its reputation as a luxury off-road powerhouse. This 2015 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is one of approximately 100 examples built in Graz, Austria, by Magna Steyr between 2013 and 2015. It is finished in a stunning black exterior paired with a black interior featuring red stitching. The vehicle has been modified with the Brabus B63S-700 package, which includes the Brabus 700 engine upgrade, carbon fiber body elements, additional LED lighting, and bespoke quilted leather upholstery. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine that drives all six wheels through an AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and five electronic differential locks. This G63 AMG 6×6 is equipped with a central tire inflation system, Ohlins suspension, 18″ Hutchinson beadlock wheels, a wood-paneled bed, heated and ventilated seats, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system with navigation.
This G63 AMG 6×6, weighing over 4.5 tons and offering 18″ of ground clearance, is finished in a sleek black with Brabus 700 badges. The vehicle features a carbon fiber power dome hood scoop, roof extensions, a front bumper with integrated LED lighting, tubular rear bumpers, and carbon fiber fender flares. Additional equipment includes a polished skid plate, wood-paneled cargo bed, twin dual side-exit exhaust outlets, a roll bar, and running boards.
The black-finished 18″ Hutchinson beadlock wheels feature red accents with Brabus center caps and are mounted with 37×13.5″ Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The spare wheel is mounted in the bed. The 6×6 is equipped with a built-in air compressor with in-cabin controls that can inflate or deflate tires based on terrain. Braking is managed by cross-drilled Brembo discs at all six wheels. Standard equipment includes Öhlins gas bypass shocks, stiffer springs, and heavy-duty bump stops.
The cabin is appointed with front and rear bucket seats upholstered in black leather with red hexagonal-quilted leather inserts, complemented by red stitching throughout. The seats feature embroidered Brabus 700 logos on the headrests and Brabus fine leather badges in the seatbacks. Interior highlights include aluminum pedals, a sunroof, power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats, a passenger grab bar, blue backlit Brabus logo stainless steel kickplates, dual-zone automatic climate control, COMAND navigation, and a Harman Kardon stereo system. Recent maintenance in November 2021 included the replacement of the driver-side front window regulator and the audio control unit.
The twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter M157 V8, assembled by AMG, has been enhanced with the Brabus B63S 700 conversion, delivering 700 horsepower and 708 lb-ft of torque. The conversion includes machining the turbocharger housings for larger compressor wheels, installing larger diameter exhaust manifold pipes, adding an additional water-cooled intercooler matrix, and fitting gold heat-reflective material on the air intake pipes and turbocharger boost tubing.
The vehicle is equipped with three portal axles and distributes power 30:40:30 through an AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic transmission, two driveshafts, a dual-range transfer case, and five electronic differential locks. The factory downpipes have been upgraded to 3″ pipes as part of the Brabus conversion.
