Up for auction is this true one-of-a-kind 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4, acquired by the seller in 2023 from Japan with a meticulous service history. It has since been heavily upgraded for off-road use and enhanced tail-happiness with a custom Reiger suspension and wishbones built specifically for this car, an 8mm custom skid plate covering the entire underbody, custom fiberglass body kit, front and rear aluminum bumpers widened by 100mm, 17-inch Braid off-road wheels, custom interior upholstery done by Top Leather in Dubai, Recaro seats with a 4-point harness, a custom roll cage, and a custom cooling system. It is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transaxle.
Porsche introduced the 911 Dakar for the 2023 model year with the eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle transmission as the only option. Here is your chance to get 911 Dakar capabilities with a manual transmission.
This 911 Dakar build is now listed for sale in Dubai with the support of the Rare Breeds Automotive team, who were behind the build and will continue to maintain and upgrade this machine at the request of the new owner.
The car was repainted white with a custom Rare Breeds Automotive vinyl livery nodding to the original Rothmans livery. Custom IPF rally lights have been mounted to the bonnet and are controlled by an auxiliary switch in the driver’s footwell. White 17-inch Braid wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The custom Reiger suspension was built by RCX Suspension Technology out of the Netherlands specifically for this car, with the goal of creating the most enjoyable experience in the sand and off-road. Toward the back of the car a custom exhaust has been fitted to the upgraded bumper as well as a 3D printed Ducktail wing.
Inside, the cabin is fitted with custom blue and white houndstooth seat and door inserts, RBA-branded Recaro bucket seats paired with OMP 4-point racing harnesses. The custom houndstooth pattern continues on the Alcantara steering wheel’s center mark. Alcantara can also be found on the parking brake and gear shifter. Behind the wheel sits the original gauge cluster indicating 140,102 kilometers, roughly 9,000 of which have been added by the seller.
The seller states they will perform a Pre Delivery Inspection on the vehicle for the next owner.
This 997.1 maintains it’s original motor, gearbox, and drive-train. The seller recommends consulting with Rare Breeds Automotive on service and further upgrades due to the extensive modifications and knowledge from the team.
Please note that the rear spoiler and Porsche Active Suspension controls in the center console do not function due to the upgraded ducktail wing & Reiger suspension. The PSM (Porsche Stability Management) control is functional
